Hyde Park – An evening walk in London’s largest park

This post marks the start of my journey and the creation of my blog, I hope that in time my content can begin to improve for your reading! I’m suffering from jet lag so this will just be a small update to kick off the page. After treacherous hours of travel and not being able to sleep, I found myself in London. I was now facing the journey I had been so enthusiastic to start, but at the same time a little nervy. I spent a good amount of time trying to figure out how I would get from the airport to my hostel. Arriving at my hostel I was unsure what this would entail. Being in a room with 9 people you’ve never met before can make one feel uneasy. I found everyone to be pretty nice with introductory smiles, something that is harder to find in the US. After a brief nap I walked down to Hyde park, one of the biggest parks in London, rich with history, and beautiful views. I could’ve spent hours exploring this park and learning the stories it had to tell. I saw gardens at the royal palace and pikachus at every corner(Pokémon Go).
